Bringing AI to Life at AI-GNITION Hackathon 2026

We were proud to be part of AI-GNITION Hackathon 2026, held at the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) on 26 September 2026, as a sponsor supporting the next generation of AI innovators.

The event brought together students who are passionate about technology, innovation and the possibilities of Artificial Intelligence. For us at Axiom IT Solutions, it was also an opportunity to go beyond simply talking about AI — and show students what AI can actually do.

Meet Mei Lin — AI in Action

One of the highlights of the event was our live on-stage demonstration of Mei Lin, Axiom’s AI Voice Agent.

Instead of just explaining AI through slides, we wanted students to experience it firsthand. Mei Lin demonstrated how an AI voice agent can understand questions, respond naturally and interact with people in real time.

The live demonstration gave students a glimpse into how conversational AI is moving beyond simple chatbots and becoming a practical tool for businesses and everyday applications.

Sharing Ideas, Exploring Possibilities

Beyond the stage demonstration, we had the opportunity to interact with students and share our perspectives on how AI is changing the way we work, learn and solve problems.

We encouraged students to think beyond simply using AI to get answers. AI can also be a tool to develop ideas, automate repetitive tasks, improve productivity and create entirely new solutions.

We were especially excited to hear students share their own ideas and perspectives on how AI could be applied to real-world challenges.

As AI continues to evolve, we believe that the next generation of innovators will play an important role in shaping how the technology is used.
