Axiom demonstrated an end-to-end integration of Microsoft O365 Cloud PBX / E5 plan with connectivity to local telco via SIP Trunking, during Microsoft O365 birthday celebration luncheon at Microsoft Auditorium Singapore.
This solution enables office 365 users to make calls between Office Applications (e.g. Outlook) / IP phones and PSTN (i.e. Landlines / mobile phones). It means O365 customers can now move their on-prem PBX into the cloud with O365, and enjoy a fully integrated UC solution with their O365 suites of products including emails, outlook, SharePoint, office apps, etc. It eliminates the need to maintain a separate PBX system for voice communications with the outside world.
According to Microsoft, this is the first demo of O365 Cloud PBX with PSTN Integration in Singapore and the region. It has attracted a lot of interest from existing O365 customers as well as new users.
