Axiom introduces its latest professional communications solution that will integrate Microsoft Office 365’s Skype For Business Cloud PBX with the local Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), at Cloud Expo Asia. This facilitates effective communication at the desk and even whilst users are on the go, enabling calls to mobile and landlines from applications such as Microsoft Outlook and Skype for Business clients, without the need for the traditional on-premise PBX. Plus, users are also reachable via public DDI telephone numbers supplied by their local telecommunications provider.
“Many of our customers who’ve moved their emails and documents to the cloud have shown keen interest in transitioning their communications system to the cloud. Microsoft Cloud PBX meets this customer need for integration, and Axiom IT Solutions is here to help connect their Cloud PBX to PSTN. Our aim is to help customers complete this critical piece of the puzzle by connecting users to the external telephone network, which is essential for the entire solution to work seamlessly”, says Mr. Lam Pang Ngean, Director at Axiom IT Solutions Pte Ltd. “This holistic solution critically supports business productivity and connectivity, even when staff are away from the desk. It effectively bolsters cost reductions not only by eliminating the need for an on-premise PBX. Users can also avoid expensive international direct dial and roaming call charges simply by using the Skype for Business clients (even on their mobile phones) to make calls. This is a very exciting benefit and feature of the modern voice solution today.”
“PSTN connectivity extends the capabilities of Cloud PBX to all Office 365 users in Singapore, bringing the benefits of what Microsoft Office 365 has to offer to the next level. Office 365 customers now have the opportunity to optimize the total cost of ownership of their unified communication solution and to adopt and leverage the more predictable cost structure of dial-in conferencing”, says Mr. Borko Kovacevic, Office Marketing Business Group Director at Microsoft Singapore.
